From January 2011 up until September 2012, Pierre was CEO and Co-CIO of HDF Finance, a Paris based alternative asset manager which was transitioned and merged into Rothschild & Cie Gestion. Throughout his tenure, HDF became a signatory to the UNPRI and started demarcating the intersection between responsible investments and carefully selected long short strategies.
From 2008 to October 2010, he was in charge of market risks before becoming portfolio manager and then Co-CIO at La Fayette IM in London.
Pierre previously headed up hedge fund selection, incubation and seeding at Oddo in Paris. From 1999 to 2005, he was CEO of Murex North America, a software company offering trading and risk management solutions. From 1986 to 1998, he held various trading positions within J.P. Morgan's capital markets division. He integrated the senior proprietary trading team after his nomination as Managing Director in 1994 and also led a Paris Club securitization transaction in 1998. Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1984 and ENSAE in 1986.
From January 2011 Joseph has been a Portfolio Manager at HDF Finance in Paris, now part of Rothschild & Cie Gestionwhere he specialises in hedge fund selection and ESG integration in Alternative Investing.
From May 2008 to October 2010 he headed up European manager research and was a Portfolio Manager at La Fayette IM, a London based fund of hedge funds.
From 2003 to 2008 he specialised in Equity Long short strategies as an analyst and Portfolio Manager at Harcourt Investment Consulting in Zurich, the first fund of fund to create an SRI product in the hedge fund space. Following his departure from Harcourt, Joseph also became a founding partner of Alphamundi AG a Zurich based Impact Finance boutique where he remains on the Investment Committee. He started his career in Equity Research in 1999 at Morgan Stanley and UBS after graduating from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
